Just realised that the window guys have taken off the stable door that we had at the back of the house. We’re having a new PVC one put in, but the old stable door has scratch marks on it from my dog. She used to scratch the door to let us know that she was done outside and wanted to come in, and that just kind of feels like another part of her is gone. She died two years ago now, but I still miss her every day.
